RESearch into the Public Perception of Nuclear Design (RESPPOND) is a multidisciplinary research project being carried out by Martin Goodfellow of the University of Manchester. The current stage of the research aims to understand how differnet aspects of nuclear design affect how the public feel about nuclear power plants. The ultimate goal of this work is to develop a method for integrating these views into the nuclear plant design process in a an effort to improve the sustainability of nuclear power.
