Dungeness Site Stakeholder Group
Dungeness A Power Station ceased generation at the end of 2006. Fuel will be progressively removed from the reactors and sent to Sellafield for treatment. This is expected to take three years.
An Environmental Impact Assessment for Decommissioning (EAID) will be produced for approval by HSE/NII to enable decommissioning to begin.
